Raise the Flag Project enters Phase 2
The local 4th Degree Knights of Columbus has entered Phase 2 of their Raise the Flag at Eagle Rock Project located at the corner of FM 2325 and Woodcreek Drive. The Flag Poles have been removed and are being restored, polished and refitted with hardware and solar lights at a local facility. They will be reinstalled shortly.
The Knights, with support of the Greater Wimberley Valley have raised two thirds of the funds needed to finish this project. Phase 3 will be the creation of a small memorial plaza. Donations of $300, $ 500, and $1,000 will be recognized in the memorial plaza with paver stones engraved with the names of those contributing to this community project or wishing to commemorate a veteran or family member.
For more information or to donate please send an email to: KC4th3109@gmail.com

Pictured in front of the flag poles at the entrance of Eagle Rock are: Eagle Rock WPOA Board members Connie Valentin, Cyndy Peterson and Knights of the Patriotic Degree Dan Pitcher, with Eagle Mountain Flags, Mike Schneider and Gary Barchfeld. Funds raised will benefit our Wimberley neighbors. Funds raised above our goal will be channeled to other Patriotic or 4th Degree Projects.
Please contact a team member with questions.
